Do I need an account to place an order?

Can I request a quotation before purchasing?
Yes. You can generate a quotation directly from your shopping cart. Alternatively, you may contact us for tailored quotes or if you need support selecting the appropriate product(s). For full terms, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
Do you sell to individuals (B2C)?
Yes, we sell to both businesses and private individuals. However, due to the technical nature and export control requirements of our products, all customers must complete the required compliance documentation prior to shipment. Please refer to our End Use Policy for details.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on the product type. For standard catalog items, the MOQ is 1 unit. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for any exceptions.
Can I purchase custom or non-standard solar cells, strings, or panels?
Yes. We offer custom solutions. Please contact us with your technical specifications to evaluate feasibility and lead times. Custom orders are subject to our Terms & Conditions.
PAYMENT
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments via PayPal, credit/debit card, and bank transfer. Payment can be completed directly through the webshop or via invoice when ordering through a quotation (PO process). Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.
Can I pay via Purchase Order (PO)?
Yes, B2B customers can place orders via Purchase Order by replying to an official quotation issued by Lightfoundry (LF). All orders are subject to our Terms & Conditions.
When is payment required?
For webshop orders, payment is required at checkout. For B2B orders via quotation, payment terms will be specified in the quotation:
• 100% payment upon order placement for lead times of 8 weeks or less
• 50% upon order placement and 50% prior to shipment for lead times exceeding 8 weeks

Which VAT is applied?
- Estonian customers (B2B & B2C): 24% VAT applied
- EU B2C customers: VAT applied in accordance with applicable EU regulations
- EU B2B customers with a valid VIES VAT ID: VAT exempt (reverse charge mechanism)
- Non-EU customers: No VAT applied (export)
VAT treatment is subject to applicable law and our Terms & Conditions.
Do you validate VAT numbers?
Yes. VAT numbers are validated through the EU VIES system. If a VAT number is invalid or cannot be verified, VAT will be applied.

RETURNS
Can I return purchased products?
Due to the specialized and sensitive nature of space-grade components, returns are generally not accepted unless the product is defective or non-conforming. Any return must be authorized in writing by Lightfoundry (LF). Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.
What should I do if I receive a damaged or defective item?
Please contact us within 20 days of delivery, providing photos and a description of the issue. We will assess the case and determine the appropriate corrective action. Full details are available in our Terms & Conditions.
Do B2C customers have a right of withdrawal?
EU consumer rights may apply; however, exemptions may apply for custom-made or sensitive technical goods. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for the applicable conditions.
Are custom products refundable?
No. Custom or made-to-order products are non-refundable, as specified in our Terms & Conditions.

What are your delivery times?
- In-stock items: typically shipped within 4 working days. Please refer to the lead times indicated on each product page, which include processing times.

Do you ship worldwide?

Are there export restrictions?
Yes. Our products may be subject to export control regulations:
- All customers must sign an End-Use Agreement
- Non-EU shipments may require an export license issued by the Estonian authorities
- Lightfoundry (LF) manages the export licensing process

Will my order be delayed due to export compliance?

Who is responsible for import duties and taxes?
